Portrait Tip: Avoid Showing Too Much Of the White Of The Eye
When making a portrait we often think about how to pose the body or hand placement but the eye placement is just as important! Having the subject looking too far over will show too much of the whites of their eyes. It leads to a ghoulish image and you loose all connection with the subject. You want to be sure you can still see the pupils in a pleasing way.
So watch those eyes, avoid too much whites of the eyes...unless your goal is to make a spoooooky halloween image!
