Maternity, Newborn, Cake-Smash, High-School Senior and Family Sessions
Yes and Yes!!
Yes! I have a 1000 sq. ft. studio on the second floor of 1182 S. Main St. Attleboro, MA (the blue door next to the hair salon). I do not have an elevator so if you need help up the stairs, I'll be happy to help! The studio is open by appointment only.
Consultations, in-studio portrait sessions and reveal and ordering sessions are held at the studio.
For Newborn sessions, we will take the sibling/family portraits first so your significant other can leave with the sibling so sessions can go smoothly and keep your sweet newborn asleep. I have a comfy couch and encourage you to bring a pillow along to relax while I do your session. Feel free to bring something to eat as well.
For Cake-Smash sessions I may ask you to hang out in the next room for a bit. Your child will be beyond adorable but I find they are very easily distracted if there are multiple people in the room and they will look at them instead of the camera or the cake.
Yes, excluding newborn sessions! I have a couple favorite parks local to Attleboro that I love to work at. I am open to locations within a 60 minute drive.
All state parks and several other locations require a permit. I’m able to shoot there but the cost of the permit would be added to your session fee. We would also need at least two weeks to process the permit.
I do not shoot on train tracks.
Private property locations only if given permission.
For me to turn down other clients and to reserve your date, I require a non-refundable session fee. This insures you are invested in a session and I feel comfortable turning down others for your date. The session fee does not include any digital images or products.
Session fee's can be found under the Investment tab.
I am a "Portrait" Photographer so my goal is to create portraits for you: printed art products that you will hang on your walls or display in beautiful heirloom albums. I'm here to help you with the "now what?" after you get your photos taken. I don't believe that your images should be lost or forgotten about on a hard drive or in The Cloud!
I'm here to guide you in which print products you would like to see in your home, the ones you can't wait to share with loved ones! Because of this business model, each session will be unique in how much each client spends. The artwork you select will determine your cost of investment. We will go over all pricing during our phone consultation so you will know how much to expect to spend as well as to start to visualize which printed products are right for you.
For Newborn Sessions we work on “baby time” but on average expect in the 3-4 hour range. That doesn't mean we will be posing and photographing the whole time. The majority of our time is spent soothing baby and waiting for them to be nice and comfy, pausing for feedings and diaper changes.
For all other sessions (Cake-smash, Maternity, High-School Senior, Family) expect about an hour and a half.
For the best possible light for on-location sessions we will meet about two hours before sunset. We will avoid mid-day light due to harsh shadows.
For Newborn Sessions we will schedule in the morning about 9:00 am on a weekday.
For Cake-smash Sessions we will schedule your session around the best time of day your little one seems happiest. I only schedule one session a day in the studio so this helps booking this way. A couple of days before your session, I will check in to see what their current nap schedule is and then we will book your session time around that.
Please note, I am closed Sundays due to family commitments.
First, let me answer that by saying what NOT to wear. Avoid: loud patterns and colors as well as anything with large logo's on them.
A secret about me: I dislike Photoshop. I try to do what I can in-person to get you looking camera ready as much as possible!
I am an animal lover! If you would like to bring a well-trained pet to your session they are welcome and they count as an additional "child/person" for your session fee. You must have a handler that is not being photographed to take the pet for photos where he/she isn't included. I cannot guarantee I will be able to get your pet to look at the camera or cooperate but I will try my hardest!
Approximately one week after your session, we will meet in the studio to view your soft-proofed online gallery. This means the images are not fully edited. You will choose which images you would love to create wall-art or build your album with and those will be fully edited.
Your digital images will be delivered through an online gallery for easy sharing and print ordering.
Together we will chose the specifications of your albums, wall-art or prints during your gallery reveal and ordering session.
After that, I will create a mock-up of your album for approval. You can make one change at no cost. Additional changes are $25 each request.
If you purchase digital files, I will create an online gallery of your chosen full-resolution digital files. I ask when sharing online to credit Jenee Cook Photography. You are encouraged to download your files to several different sources for safe keeping.
Your gallery will remain live for 1 month after your session and to order additional prints.
Long answer short, no. My job is to provide you with the full experience. From start to finish you are hiring me for my creativity and artistic eye. I do not distribute RAW files for this and other reasons that include the logistics of being able to transfer such massive file sizes.
I do take multiple shots of the same poses, set-ups and scenes. From there I pick the absolute best images and only present to you the ones that are the most flattering. Any out-of-focus or unflattering images aren't presented.
Fill out the contact form, call or email me and we will set up a phone consultation. You will receive a questionnaire by email after I respond to your contact form. I will answer all your questions about your session during our chat. If you are then ready to book we will set a date and I will email you a quote, invoice and contract to officially book your session.

You will receive an online invoice where you can use any credit or debit card to pay. My website is also enabled to accept payment for your session fee under the investment tab. You can also pay with cash or check.
